Tricon Solutions Business Development Manager

Role Objectives

Tricon’s Business Development Manager is responsible for defining an overarching business development strategy that aligns with Tricon’s vision and goals across lines of business.  The Business Development Manager will work in collaboration with Account Managers with the focus on new business connections to increase revenue across Tricon business streams.  


What you’ll do:

  • Identify and develop new account and client opportunities that will bring new business to Tricon to support Tricon’s vision and strategic goals
  • Manage existing client accounts and maintain positive and valuable relationships. Leverage and utilize Tricon services and Tricon team to provide best service to the client 
  • Maintain Tricon consultant placements; addressing and problem solving any arising issues with clients and consultants. This also involves proactively seeking new opportunities for existing consultants
  • Responsible for negotiating rates for new placements and contract renewals in a way that will benefit both Tricon and the consultant
  • Responsible for selling and marketing Tricon’s delivery plan to existing and new clients, and ensuring continuous improvements of best practices
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring operational targets such as profits, margins, and accounts   


Who you are:

  • Post secondary education
  • Certification in Business, IT, Project Management or equivalent – would be an advantage
  • 10 Years in Sales and Account Management
  • 10 Years experience in recruiting / HR an asset
  • Advanced business knowledge
  • IT knowledge – would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships 
  • Demonstrated experience in Business development maximizing opportunities
  • Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics
